Loading Dock Theatre is proud to present Forklift, our new reading and developmental program presenting works in progress by exciting writers and directors, in our space in Brooklyn.
The Loading Dock Theatre has announced the residence for their 2nd Forlift Reading Series.
Curated by Artistic Associate Charles Quittner, the 2018 lineup will feature theatrical workshops that will utilize drag, music, current events, and multimedia. Lead artists will be: James Blaszko, Grace Connolly, Troy Deutsch, Asia Gagnon, Sam Schanwald, and Ryan Szelon

The Weekend on Flaming Road

In The Weekend on Flaming Road, we are taken down an “Afro-New Wave, existential rabbit-hole exploring the absurdity of living in black skin. This new work is created from Daaimah’s Everyday Afroplay – a daily theatrical writing meditation on blackness or the black body, in its’ ever mutating and varied forms, aiming to create a cauldron of text that exists outside industry constraints.
